Judi Clements, President of Judi Clements Training & Development, has brought back one-on-one coaching to her training and development practice.  Clements works with job seekers, executives, and employees to improve their verbal communication skills.

Clements’ originally offered coaching services when she founded her consulting practice in 1986.  Over the years, her training and keynote speaking has consumed most of her time.  Recently, clients have once again started asking for coaching sessions as they look for new jobs, compete for promotions, or develop conflicts with co-workers.

According to Clements, “In the digital age, some people are losing the art of face-to-face communication.  A job interview can become very stressful if people don’t have the skills to build rapport with the interviewer and talk effectively about their achievements.”  

Clements reviews the job seeker’s resume to ensure it represents their talents effectively. She emphasizes the need to create a personal “brand” that sets the applicant apart from the competition.

Executive coaching clients work on interpersonal and public speaking skills.  Many executives limit their career path if they have underdeveloped skills in these areas.  Clements also works as a conflict management coach and mediator.  She helps co-workers move past personal conflicts, thereby decreasing disruptive behaviors and regaining productivity.
