In 1986, Judi Clements founded Speech Training Associates, specializing in executive coaching & training in the areas of presentation and interpersonal communication. Judi trained hundreds of professionals, performers, & media spokespeople in the art of public speaking and stage presence.  She provided interpersonal skills coaching and career transition skills.

In 1989, Judi expanded her practice under the name Judi Clements Training & Development and began offering supervisory and communication seminars, workshops, and keynotes.  Since then, Judi has worked with many organizations to improve employee & management performance in the areas of communication, supervision, customer service, and wellness.

For four years she served as Vice President of Training & Development for a national health care firm, where she founded their training department and designed & delivered training for 150 health centers around the country.

Awards/Memberships

Judi appeared on WNYT television and WPTR radio in Albany, NY for over two years with her own feature, Moments for Managers, offering tips for management effectiveness.  She is a former board member of the Hudson-Mohawk American Society of Training and Development, Hudson Valley Chapter of the Association of Psychological Type, and the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce. In 2000, the Hudson-Mohawk American Society of Training & Development named her Corporate Trainer of the Year.  In 2009, the NENY Girls Scouts selected Judi as one of their Distinguished Community Leaders.

Education

Judi Clements has a Bachelors and Master of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Albany, where she majored in English, speech and theater education. She is a certified NYS teacher, qualified Myers Briggs Personality Type practitioner, and certified mediator. Before opening her training practice, Judi taught high school & college and performed professionally on stage and in radio & television commercials.
